MOST of Oldham's secondary schools and colleges have confirmed that their students were safe and well after Monday's suicide attack at the Manchester Arena.
However, Oldham College are still waiting to hear from a staff member who attended the event.
A spokesman from the college said: "Regrettably, two members of staff were involved. They are both very valued members of the college community. One is now safe but has had an enormously traumatic experience and we are still waiting for news about another."
A spokesperson from Crompton House School, in Rochdale Road, Shaw, said: "A number of our pupils were at the concert, but as far as we know none were physically hurt, although they will be deeply traumatised."
