PETER METCALFE
CONCERNS have been raised about a Shaw man who has gone missing while walking his dog.
Police are appealing for help in finding 65-year-old Peter Metcalfe, who was last seen at around 3.40pm yesterday on Church Road, Shaw.
He is white with grey hair and is wearing jeans and a white T-shirt with Steve McQueen on it.
Police Sergeant Kelly Bragg, of GMP's Oldham Borough, said: "As the hours have gone by and we've not heard from Peter, we are becoming really worried about him.
"Since he was last seen, we have found his dog, which will mean that he is on his own.
"If you see Peter or know where he is, please get in contact with us. We believe he may not be very well and may need medical attention, so it's really important we find him as soon as possible."
Anyone who sees Peter should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
