Kelvin and his younger brother Brayden on set
AN Oldham-born soap star is hoping brotherly support will help him win a million for charity.
Kelvin Fletcher, who plays Andy Sugden in “Emmerdale”, is to appear on “Celebrity Who Wants To be A Millionaire?” with his 15–year–old brother Brayden.
The pair hope to raise money for The Cardiomyopathy Association, for families affected by the heart-muscle disease, and DEBRA, which helps people with the genetic skin blistering condition epidermolysis bullosa.
The special “School’s Out” edition will be broadcast at 8pm on ITV1 on Sunday.
Kelvin said of his prospects: “I’m really, really nervous. I don’t want to sound too thick — hopefully we’ll do well.”
Also on the show are five–times Olympic gold medallist Sir Steve Redgrave, appearing with his son Zak (14), and news presenter Dermot Murnaghan with his daughter Molly (15).
