Children escape injury

EIGHT New Bridge School pupils were involved in a road crash when the minibus they were travelling in collided with a black Vauxhall Corsa.
The incident happened at the junction of Rochdale Road and St Mary’s Way at noon yesterday.
There were no injuries to the children or their driver — just damage to the vehicles.
