QUESTION Time: Debbie Abrahams MP speaks to students at Oldham College.
SAVVY students put local MP Debbie Abrahams on the spot when they subjected her to a “Question Time” style grilling.
Pupils doing courses in law, finance and business asked the Oldham East and Saddleworth MP about her work and campaigns she is currently involved in.
They were able to quiz her about issues that may affect their communities and their future employment prospects.
Diane Murray, from Oldham College student services, said: “We believe it is important to give our students the opportunity to interact and take part with local politics and this is the perfect forum for doing just that.
“As the year progresses we will be inviting more people involved in local politics to take part in other activities with our students.”
