Man’s trial on robbery charges

A MAN accused of armed robberies at two Saddleworth sub-post offices will face trial at crown court.
Yan Tingle (35) of Denton allegedly raided Greenfield post office last November with an accomplice — one holding a hand gun, the other an axe.
Tingle is also accused of a raid on Diggle sub-post office the following March, when two raiders held a sub-postmaster at gunpoint. He is also charged with an attempted robbery at a Marple jewellers in April.
Tingle was remanded in custody until the trial in October
