Dr Kershaw’s to get a royal visit

THE Duchess of Gloucester
DR Kershaw’s Hospice will roll out the red carpet next month when the Duchess of Gloucester pays a visit.
The duchess will visit on October 8 to commemorate the much-loved hospice’s 25th anniversary year.
The visit will include stops at the in-patient and day care units and she will meet patients, staff and relatives and learn more about the hospice’s day-to-day work. The duchess will also unveil a commemorative stone to mark the occasion.
Pupils who regularly raise money for the institution will also get the chance to meet the royal visitor on the day.
