Thief pinches your Chron!

OUR Royton readers were almost left without their copy of the Chronicle last night after a delivery van with more than 2,000 papers inside was stolen outside the Red Rose filling station on Shaw Road, Royton at 11am yesterday.
The driver had left the vehicle for a few moments when the thief jumped in and drove off, taking papers meant for Royton shops. The Chronicle had 2,000 more papers printed to make sure readers in Royton got their local news.
