Sham marriage probe

TWO Failsworth people have been remanded in custody until December 5 following the alleged trafficking and “sale” into a sham marriage of a pregnant east European woman.
Milik Ramzan (27) and Anna Cicakova (34), both of Wesley Street, appeared at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
They are among five people charged with conspiracy to hold another person in slavery and conspiracy to intentionally arrange entry into the UK for exploitation.
