A woman is to be summonsed following a police chase which ended with a Mini crashing into two parked cars before flipping on to its roof on Friday.
The driver suffered a broken collar bone in the accident and was taken to hospital. Police had pursued the Mini in Middleton Road, Chadderton, at 3.45am before it crashed into two parked cars.
Councillor Barbara Brownridge, who lives in Middleton Road, was astounded that the driver was able to walk from the wreckage almost unharmed.
She said: “When my husband and I looked out at the scene at 3.45am, we expected somebody to have been hurt because the car was on its roof. We were absolutely amazed that nobody had been killed.”
