Police staff strike in pay dispute
Date published: 16 January 2015
UNISON police staff members across the majority of forces in England and Wales will stage a 24-hour strike from 7am on January 23, as part of a pay dispute.
UNISON has asked for a three per cent pay increase on police staff pay points. A counter-offer of a one per cent increase was received from employers. A month of planned action will follow the 24-hour walkout if a deal cannot be reached.
