A PIONEERING partnership to combat drug and alcohol addiction has been launched in the borough.
One Recovery Oldham focuses on an individual’s wellbeing in general rather than tackling the addiction alone.
The Oldham Council-commissioned service deals with employment, accommodation, criminal justice and mental health issues.
Councillor Sue Dearden, chairman of the Oldham Health and Wellbeing Board, said: “This service will focus on the whole person and help them to tackle other problems like jobs and housing.”
