Emergency service personnel help the injured motorcyclist
TWO motor-cyclists were injured in separate crashes in Oldham yesterday.
One is in hospital with a serious leg injury after his motorcycle and a car collided on the slip road between the Manchester Street and King Street roundabouts.
The incident caused serious delays to rush-hour traffic: the exit to Manchester Street was closed until around 7.30pm.
Another motorcyclist was taken to hospital after being hit by a car on the King Street roundabout shortly after 11.30am. He as taken to hospital with shoulder injuries. The driver of the car was arrested.
