TRAGIC . . . a warehouse worker was crushed to death
THE circumstances leading to a worker being crushed to death in a tragic accident at a Chadderton warehouse remain a mystery.
Police were told on Friday morning that a member of staff at R Tindall Fabricators Ltd, believed to be in his 50s, had been crushed to death by falling pipes. It isn’t yet known how the pipes came to fall.
The Hargreaves Street-based company, which specialises in sprinkler pipework and general engineering, declined to comment.
The Health and Safety Executive is investigating
