Travel disrupted as man hit by tram

A MAN was hit by a tram in Chadderton on Friday, closing a section of the route as inquiries got underway.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance with a minor cut to the head, but was reportedly conscious at the scene.
The service was stopped between Freehold and Failsworth while emergency services worked. Services resumed at 10.30am.
