Wandering child finds his way home

A LITTLE boy found wandering alone on a street in Holts this morning has been reunited with his mother.
The three year old was found alone in Meadowbank Close, Oldham at 6.25am by a passer by. It's believed he opened the door himself with keys left in the lock
Police will take no action against the boy's mother, who was reunited with her son almost three hours later. Officers went door to door and eventually found her out looking for him.
A spokesman said: "Officers have spoken to her and established it was a one-off, unfortunate incident. No arrest has been made."
