Man killed by train at station

GREENFIELD railway station - man died
SERVICES through Greenfield railway station were temporarily stopped on Saturday after a man was hit and killed by a train just before 5pm.
Services on the line were halted and Shaw Hall Bank Road cordoned off while emergency services worked. The railway line and roads were reopened by 8pm.
Woman injured in crash
A WOMAN is in hospital with neck and spine injuries after being involved in a car crash in Oldham.
Firefighters were called to the collision involving a Fiat Punto and a Hyundai i20 on West Hulme Way, outside the B&Q store, at around 1.30pm yesterday.
The woman had to be freed from one of the vehicles A man was also taken to hospital as a precaution.
