Bus hits man’s elbow

A MAN suffered serious injuries to his arm and hand when he was struck by a bus in Ashton Road, Hathershaw.

He is believed to have been getting into a car close to Hathershaw Post Office when the accident happened, shortly after 8.30am yesterday.

The bus hit his elbow, forcing his hand and arm through the car window. He was taken to hospital with severe cuts.
