Teen and boy, three, hurt in car accident

A 16-YEAR-OLD girl and three-year-old boy were taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Glodwick on Friday.
Emergency services were called to Park Road, close to the junction with Hardy Street, after reports that two pedestrians had been hit while using the zebra crossing shortly after 4.30pm.
They were both taken to hospital for treatment for non life-threatening injuries and were recovering well.
The road remained closed until almost 10pm while an investigation into the incident was carried out and the driver of the car was spoken to by police.
No arrests were made.
