FIREFIGHTERS climbed through an open window to put out a pan on fire that had been left unattended.
Three fire engines from Chadderton, Oldham and Hollins attended the blaze at Aintree Walk, Chadderton, at 3.05pm yesterday.
On arrival at the terraced house, firefighters could hear the smoke alarm sounding and gained entry to the house through the open window to put out the fire.
