Terry Flanagan: honoured by league
FORMER Oldham and Great Britain forward Terry Flanagan was honoured at the Super League Man of Steel awards ceremony in Manchester last night.
Flanagan received the Mike Gregory Spirit of Rugby League gong at the gala dinner at Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground.
He was recognised for playing a leading role in the foundation of the sport’s charity, Rugby League Cares.
The charity’s aims are to enhance people’s lives through the power and positive influence of the sport.
