Involved in politics since 1990 and was first elected as a councillor in 2002. Has served on various committees, school governing bodies. Set up a youth club called Chill Zone for the young people.
He says: As an independent councillor I have the freedom to represent the views of my constituents free from the crushing influence of any party political machine I have and will continue to invest huge amounts of time listening to the views and concerns of constituents, visiting them in their homes and in their workplaces.
As well as health, education and more police, I will continue to fight, among other issues for no more demolition of council (FCHO) houses, pothole repairs and lower council tax.
