He says: I will work for the community to deliver a reduction in crime through greater levels of policing and further installation of alley gates. Increased funding for youth projects - to keep the youngsters occupied and off the streets; improved levels of recreational facilities for the youth and the provision of floodlights at Tudor Street football pitch; investment in community centres to bring the communities together under one roof and to improve community cohesion.
I will also fight for the provision of resources to help the elderly with heating bills through the winter and the provision of adequate levels of transport to keep the elderly mobile.
