FA Cup: All eyes on round one draw
Date published: 17 October 2016
ATHLETIC will discover the identity of their FA Cup first round opponents tonight.
Boss Stephen Robinson's side could be put up against local non-league outfits Stockport or Curzon Ashton, albeit with the latter involved in a replay after they held York to a 1-1 draw at the weekend.
Westfields, of the Midland League Premier Division, are the lowest-ranked side in the competition, after beating Leiston 2-1 to go into the first-round proper draw for the first time.
The draw - Athletic are ball No.33 - will be shown on BBC Two from 7.10pm and the games will be played on the weekend of Saturday, November 5.
