Billy Mckay
BILLY Mckay is set for a recall for tomorrow's FA Cup clash against Doncaster Rovers.
After promising shows in the reserves' 1-0 win behind closed doors at Burnley this week, Charles Dunne, Ollie Banks and possibly Josh Law also come into contention for a start, as does Carl Winchester.
"Ninety per-cent of our training is geared towards forward thinking and trying to score goals by getting crosses into the box," said manager Stephen Robinson. "The more crosses you put in, the more chances you have of scoring.
'NUMBERS'
"We have had numbers into the box at Rochdale. Watch the game back and we got five or six people in. It is just a case of being in the right place at the right time.
"Billy Mckay offers us that. He is the one who has a record of scoring goals throughout his career, so we will look at that.
"Other than that, we do have to change the personnel and try to put in footballers who are comfortable on the ball - because we are a side that, when we go long, look poor.
"I want to put in players who are good on the ball, while also doing their defensive bit as well."
Athletic (probable, 4-4-2): Ripley; Dummigan, Clarke, Burgess, Dunne; Winchester, Banks, Green, McLaughlin; Erwin, Mckay. Subs (from): Kettings, Law, Wilson, Reckord, Croft, Klok, Fane, Flynn, Jahraldo-Martin, Ladapo, Osei.
