Familiar faces lined up

ALREADY lined up to come in are Anthony Gerrard and Aaron Amadi-Holloway, who played a major role in Athletic's successful battle against relegation under John Sheridan in 2015-16.
Northampton, meanwhile, who have on board as performance coach John Harbin who Sheridan knows well, made a move for the manager's services as well. But Athletic won out. Sheridan rejoins a club that is in a better position that on his arrival a year ago. Back then, after David Dunn had been dismissed, Athletic were five points adrift of safety. Currently, the gap is only three points, and Athletic have games in hand.
