JOHN SHERIDAN
NOTTS County said they sacked John Sheridan for gross misconduct after his rant at officials during a loss to Wycombe.
Then in charge at Meadow Lane, Sheridan was sent to the stands in December for a verbal tirade at officials.
He got a five-match touchline ban and new County chairman Alan Hardy - no relation to the former Athletic chief executive - said: "Comments of the type made by Mr Sheridan were utterly appalling and wholly unacceptable, completely undermining the community spirit and focus we are striving to develop here.
"It was our decision to terminate the contract based on what I read in the referee's report regarding the incident."
