THE last away trip of the season is one that travelling supporters always relish - especially those with an eye for outlandish outfits.
Hartlepool fans have become famous in recent years for parading 'en masse' in various special uniforms. Last year, they travelled in their hundreds to Plymouth as Stormtroopers from the Star Wars films and tomorrow, the plan is to head to Cheltenham dressed as French mime artists.
BAND
Athletic's own band of fans in fancy dress have taken in the fun in recent years, last time out at Millwall and previously at Walsall, Carlisle and Leyton Orient.
We have seen smurfs, superheroes, horses, chickens, cavemen and the Super Mario Brothers.
What inventive outfits will amuse the locals at Wimbledon on Sunday? We will show the best (and the worst) in Tuesday's Chronicle.
