HUNDREDS of Oldham Athletic fans queued for hours for a chance to meet their footballing heroes at Spindles Shopping Centre.
And pens were at the ready as players signed 350 specially printed souvenir poster which came with yesterday’s issue of the Oldham Evening Chronicle.
Steve Duthie, the Chronicle’s newspaper sales manager, said: “We are happy to work in association with the club and Town Square and Spindles shopping centre to organise this extremely popular event.”
