ATHLETIC players past and present converged on Boundary Park for the launch of “The Who’s Who of Oldham Athletic” (Breedon Books, £19.99).
Former players Matthew Tipton, Kenny Clements and Les Chapman joined professionals of toady in Mark Allott, Stefan Stam and Kelvin Lomax to autograph copies of the book written by Gareth Dykes.
There are two more signing sessions, with the first at Waterstones in Spindles Shopping Centre on Thursday (5.30pm to 7pm).
Richard Jobson, Andy Barlow, Steve Taylor, Paul Edwards, Darron McDonough and Mike Lester have confirmed they are coming, while a couple of other ex-players may also be turning up depending on commitments.
The other is at WH Smiths in Spindles Shopping Centre on Thursday, December 18 (6pm) when Joe Royle, Jimmy Frizzell, Neil Redfearn, Ian Wood and Keith Hicks will be present.
