ATHLETIC reserves are set to lose their home at Hyde United after the non-league club was wound up in the High Court in London over a debt of £122,000.
Unless an appeal is successful, Hyde will cease to exist and will have to quit Blue Square North.
They have already been forced to seek a postponement of tomorrow’s FA Cup tie against Salford City.
Athletic had planned to play nine of their scheduled 11 home reserve-team matches at Hyde, with the remaining two taking place at Stalybridge Celtic.
Hyde are managed by former Athletic striker Neil Tolson and their side includes another former Boundary Park pair, twins Scott and David McNiven.
