ATHLETIC officials are urging as many fans as possible to attend next week's consultation meeting over proposals for a new ground at Broadway, Failsworth.
The club is to canvass the views of Athletic supporters at a special free event which will be held in the theatre at The Radclyffe School, Hunt Lane, Chadderton, on Wednesday, December 9 (7pm)
“It is important to hold these consultation meetings to get as much input from fans and residents as possible," said an Athletic spokesperson.
"It is an opportunity for people to have an influence on this development so that it can make a positive contribution to the community and the wider borough of Oldham.
"We realise that this consultation meeting is only days away, but we would like to see as many fans as possible attend so that we can hear their opinions and, of course, they will also have the chance to ask questions about the proposed development."
CHRIS Casper has left his part-time post working with Athletic's under-16s side at the Centre of Excellence to take up the role of assistant manager at League Two side Grimsby Town, working under new boss Neil Woods.
