BOXING DAY GAME OFF
Date published: 24 December 2009
Latics have been forced to postpone their Boxing Day game against Tranmere Rovers.
The club held an inspection, performed by referee Carl Evans and he discovered that the pitch - under seven inches of snow - was soft and playable.
However the poor conditions in and around the ground have brought about the postponement.
