Football League bosses have revealed a key set of dates for next season.
Athletic will start their 2010-11 campaign with a game on Saturday, August 7, with a Carling Cup first-round tie three or four days later.
Around Christmas, Athletic will be in action on Boxing Day and Tuesday, December 28, while there is a New Year's Day game on Saturday, January 1, 2011, followed by another on the Bank Holiday of Monday, January 3.
Full fixture lists will be released by the Football League on Thursday, June 17.
ATHLETIC'S youth team game against Shrewsbury was called off at the weekend due to the opposition's involvement in the FA Youth Cup.
Tony Philliskirk's side are next in action on Saturday when they face third-placed Wigan Athletic at home (11am kick-off).
The club's youth team boss is currently in the process of making decisions on under-16s and trialists, and is due to welcome two new youngsters from Northern Ireland over the Easter period.
