Chance to meet Latics legends

A HANDFUL of tickets are available for a special fund-raising evening featuring Athletic legends Andy Ritchie, Ian Marshall and Paul Warhurst

The question and answer night, in aid of Shaw Cricket Club, is being organised by former Athletic striker Matthew Tipton, who plays for the Holebottom Clough outfit in the Saddleworth Cricket League.

Ritchie, Marshall and Warhurst were in the Athletic squad which reached the final of the Littlewoods Cup 20 years ago.

Tickets for the event at Shaw CC on Thursday, April 22 (7.30pm) cost £10 (including curry supper) and are on sale at the Springvale Inn and the Rifle Range, both in Chadderton.
