LATICS ROUND UP: ATHLETIC fans are being urged to vote for Danny Whitaker in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy goal of the season competition.

The organisers unveiled their top 10 goals of the campaign and Whitaker’s strike for Athletic against Accrington is included.

The nominations, which also feature goals by ex-Athletic players Aaron Wilbraham and Neil Kilkenny, are:

The winning goalscorer will be presented with the Johnstone’s Paint Ultimate Finish of the Season Award, while one voter will win a Sony Playstation 3 console with the latest Fifa game.

PROVISIONAL dates for this season’s play-off ties have been lined up by the Football League.

Due to this summer’s World Cup, the play-off finals will not all take place over one weekend as in previous seasons.

Saturday, May 8: Championship semi-final, first leg, 12.45pm kick-off; Championship semi-final, first leg, 5.30pm. Tuesday, May 11: Championship semi-final, second leg, 7.45pm. Wednesday, May 12: Championship semi-final, second leg, 7.45pm. Friday, May 14: League One semi-final, first leg, 7.45pm. Saturday, May 15: League One semi-final, first leg, 12.15pm; League Two semi-final, first leg, 6pm. Sunday, May 16: League Two semi-final, first leg, 1.30pm. Monday, May 17: League One semi-final, second leg, 7.45pm. Tuesday, May 18: League One semi-final, second leg, 7.45pm. Wednesday, May 19: League Two semi-final, second leg, 7.45pm. Thursday, May 20: League Two semi-final, second leg, 7.45pm.

All three play-off finals will take place at Wembley.

The Championship final is on Saturday, May 22, League One is on Saturday, May 29 and League Two on Sunday, May 30 (all 3pm).
