ROGER PALMER
ROGER PALMER may just be pulling on his old boots tonight.
The 51-year-old Athletic legend produced one of the biggest cheers of the season when he was introduced to the crowd at half-time on Saturday.
And there is a chance that he will take part in tonight’s game between fans and staff at Boundary Park, which starts at 7pm (free admission) and also features David Eyres.
“We told him about the game and he said that he fancies it, so he may end up playing for 20 minutes or so,” said chief executive Alan Hardy.
