LATICS round up:
PHYSIO Jon Guy was the star of the show for Athletic's staff team, who saw off a side made up of fans 4-1 in a challenge match at Boundary Park.
Guy notched a pair of goals for the staff team (yellow shirts), who also registered through Simon Corney and Lee Duxbury. Matthew Gilluley replied for the fans' team.
The only black mark on the night was the lengthy stoppage due to a serious injury to fans' player Craig Langley, who was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital with a dislocated knee, as £2,000 was raised for club funds in a game watched by several hundred people.
