Latics shape up for new deal

ATHLETIC have extended their sponsorship deal with DW Sports Fitness into the 2010-11 season.

As part of the package, Athletic’s players will have use of the gym facilities at the site on the Central Retail Park, off Broadway.

Season ticket holders with Athletic also benefit from the sponsorship deal, as they will be given a discounted membership.

“We are delighted to extend our agreement with DW Sports Fitness for next season,” said Guy Walker, Athletic’s sales and marketing manager.

“As we don’t have a large gym at Boundary Park, it is a massive help that we can use the fantastic facilities, especially during the winter months when we are often unable to train outdoors.”
