Fleming returns

GREG FLEMING is back with Athletic.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper spent the whole of last season on loan at Scottish first division outfit Dunfermline.

But after being sent north by previous manager Dave Penney, Fleming has returned to Boundary Park.

“I still have one year of my contract with Latics remaining so I will have to see what happens,” Fleming told the club website.

“As there will be a new manager, hopefully I will get a chance in the first team.”
