Athletic target Magpies winger

ATHLETIC are in the hunt for Newcastle United winger Kazenga LuaLua.
Manager Paul Dickov seems certain to enter the loan market this week to boost a squad that looms increasingly thin as a result of injuries and player departures.
LuaLua — the 19-year-old brother of former Portsmouth striker Lomana — spent time on loan Brighton last season and Athletic face competition for his signature from Seagulls boss Gus Poyet.
Athletic hope to bring in two new players on loan, with the other target likely to be a striker.
Everton prospect Jose Baxter was linked with a switch to Boundary Park earlier in the summer.
The Toffees’ youngest-ever senior player, Baxter has 11 senior appearances to his name for the Goodison Park club.
