ATHLETIC will be financially secure for another season following the sale of Tom Eaves, writes CHRIS LYNHAM
The striker signed a three-year deal at the Reebok for an undisclosed fee plus a sell-on clause, but boss Paul Dickov won’t be splashing the cash any time soon.
Chief Executive Alan Hardy said: “The money we received from the transfer will help to keep the club going this coming season.
“We have got bills to pay and other financial commitments.”
Bolton boss Owen Coyle said: “We’re delighted to have him and we’ll look to take step upon step with him, to such a time when he is ready to challenge for a first-team place.”
