FORMER Athletic trainee Laquan Esdaile-Biney — who was released in the summer — made his debut for Stalybridge Celtic in Blue Square Bet North on Saturday.
He was and was named man-of-the-match after his performance in a 2-0 win against Redditch United.
The 18-year-old is part of a full-time revolution, with Celtic taking the bold decision to follow a youth path, signing nine youngsters released by pro clubs to add to young players from their own academy set-up.
