ATHLETIC are to hold a 'Manchester City Legends Day' for this month’s npower League One match against Plymouth Argyle.

The match at Boundary Park on Saturday, October 30, features a managerial head-to-head involving Paul Dickov and Peter Reid, two City playing legends.

Athletic are making an offer to City season-ticket holders to watch the match for half price.

They will be able to buy a ticket for £10, with under-16s £5 providing they produce their season tickets.

The half-price tickets can be bought in advance from Boundary Park, though City fans will be able to make purchases on the day of the game from the ticket office. City fans are reminded that one half-price ticket can be purchased for each season ticket.

“We thought as the match features two City legends, it was a good idea to try and entice some City fans to Boundary Park with this half-price offer,” said Athletic chief executive Alan Hardy.

Latics have already issued 5,000 vouchers to local schools entitling children to free admission providing they are accompanied by an adult, also giving season-ticket holders the opportunity to bring a friend for £5.
