Players on the move

ATHLETIC players could be making moves out of Boundary Park in the next few days.

Joe Jacobson, Jon Worthington, Rob Purdie, Kelvin Lomax and Greg Fleming were all transfer listed before the season started, but none has left despite the club receiving offers which some players chose to turn down.

Earlier this week non-contract player Rodrigue Dikaba was released due to disciplinary reasons.

Deane Smalley is approaching the end of his month-long loan spell at Rochdale, while former captain Sean Gregan has joined Fleetwood Town on a three-month loan deal.
