New date for derby
Date published: 10 November 2010
ATHLETIC’S rearranged trip to Rochdale will take place on Saturday, November 27 (3pm kick-off).
Supporters who attended the original derby clash at Spotland, which was abandoned after just eight minutes due to a waterlogged pitch, can go to the rescheduled fixture for no extra charge.
They need to return their original ticket stub to its place of purchase to exchange it for a new ticket.
Any supporters who can’t make it to the match will receive a full refund.
Athletic chief executive Alan Hardy said: “After Rochdale’s discussions with Greater Manchester Police, we are pleased the date has been confirmed, because it is the day we wanted.
“Fans have from today until Wednesday, November 24, to exchange stubs from the original game for new tickets.
“If some supporters can’t make it, there is an opportunity for us to sell tickets to people who can attend.”
