GIVE the lads a cheer . . . Angela Kirkham and Athletic chief executive Alan Hardy hold a banner made at Victoria Brook Nursery.
VICTORIA Brook Nursery is backing Athletic’s crowd-boosting bid.
Owner Angela Kirkham has donated £100 to an initiative which will see the cost of admission to the Carlisle game at Boundary Park on Tuesday slashed to £2 across the board.
Athletic chief executive Alan Hardy and mascot Chaddy the Owl were on hand to celebrate the news.
And with the nursery producing a special banner for the match, it promises to be a night to remember for old and young alike.
“I am a big Latics fan and I just want to help to get everyone behind the club,” said Angela.
“We all feel so let down by recent events, but now is the time for fans to stand up and be counted.”
