Latics wait on Stephens
Date published: 21 February 2011
DALE Stephens was seeing a doctor today about the illness which has so far ruled him out of three matches.
He has not trained for two weeks and is unlikely to play tomorrow. Stephens’ usual central midfield partner Dean Furman is walking a suspension tightrope.
He has nine yellow cards to his name this season and will pick up a two-game ban if he is booked again between now and the Charlton game on Saturday, April 9, inclusive.
Captain Reuben Hazell has now served his own two-game suspension.
