Supporters to pitch up and play

REGULAR supporters can recreate their favourite Boundary Park memories live and on the pitch as a result of a new drive by the club.

Athletic are selling corporate packages whereby companies can play out a challenge match on the famous playing surface for a cost of £750 plus VAT.

The pitch is available between May 8 and 22 and the cost comprises use of the pitch and changing facilities.

Food and drink can also be provided at an additional cost and money raised will be used to renovate the club's training ground.

TV double in one night
ATHLETIC may be featured not once but TWICE on live television on Monday week.

The home npower League match with Tranmere is already being screened live by Sky Sports on Monday, March 28.

And now plans are afoot for the BBC's Late Kick-Off programme to be broadcast live — for the first time in its two-season history — from Boundary Park at around 11pm.
