Chief confident of reaching safety

ATHLETIC will get the six points they need to be safe in npower League One, says manager Paul Dickov.
Missing Chris Taylor (mumps) and possibly without Filipe Morais (hamstring) tonight, Dickov is confident that more displays like the one in defeat to Brighton at Boundary Park will provide the club with that bare minimum requirement.
“We will get them,” Dickov said. “We are playing well, we have sorted out things that have gone wrong recently.
“We just need to be a bit more ruthless in the last third and we know that. We are working on it.”
Top scorer David Mooney is back in the Colchester side tonight after serving a three-match ban.
